Mankind in their own interest gather together to serve their own selves & interest. Politically till now the most complex & largest concept of this tangible togetherness has taken expression as a nation. But man still aspires more. He is even a part of this universe.Internationalism in the sense of a boundary-less globe is still difficult. It is even easier to think cosmically as we do not have neighbours to our knowledge. But in this world till when the demand of population and supply of resources do remain askew, there will be necessity of more than one groups. There will be US & THEM. Patriotism is a noble feeling not in itself as also ones duty to his family is not an end in itself. All has to be measured according to shifting paradigms & perspectives, relativity & time-space. Virtues becomes tragic flaws when they cross limits. Vices become necessary in difficult times. Thus man strives to stay erect in this slip-sliding way, as there is really no highway. It took millions of year for evolution for man to completely stand erect and biologist say the process is not complete. Just think what has been achieved in the last 300 years. Today we at least have an United Nations with all its members. We will always have contradictions in us. This is the force of dialectics that takes us ahead. That is why man is such a tragic character, where there is still a Cain & an Abel.

If you are asking for my personal opinion then my Swadesh is that geographical entity in which I was born, received all inputs (positive & negative) to grow up, can identify with it thus and has an undeniable impression on my psyche. It is part of me, a subjective concept that I will always carry. I react towards it not only with my mind but with all my being. Thus this precept is a product of direct experience and cannot be an acquired trait. Namoskar.

He addressed to the people of a different country as his own countrymen,that is why he mentioned America .
we mark our own native land for our own existence and identification.Of course we are bound to abide by some rules and regulations of our own country and foreign countries too.As a person loves his own parents whether he stays with them or not we love our land where we born-it is an emotion.By taking nationality of a country a person enjoys it’s facilities.Emotion is different and legal status is different.
